Welcome to European Wind Energy Association’s blog, “A breath of fresh air” – a place where you’ll find engaging views and the timely updates on wind energy-related topics from the EU and around the world. Launched in April 2010 and now widely read from Poland to Portugal, the blog is the place where you too can share your opinion on wind power. It is mostly written by three people from EWEA – the CEO, the Blog Editor and an external journalist, as well as many guest bloggers. Key contributors

Christian Kjaer is EWEA’s Chief Executive Officer. He joined EWEA in 2002 working on developing policy. Previously Christian was an economist / policy advisor for the Danish wind energy association based in Copenhagen, and before that he was a political science journalist at Danish daily newspaper ‘Berlingske Tidende.
Zoë Casey is Communication Officer and blog Editor. She writes and edits articles for EWEA’s website on wind power, EWEA publications and reports, as well as for external publications. Zoë joined in September 2009. Previously she was a journalist at the European Voice.

Chris Rose is a freelance journalist for EWEA based in Vancouver, Canada. An award-winning newspaper reporter and editor for 30 years, Chris is especially interested in stories that shed light on the environment, energy usage, politics and shifting demographics.

Sarah Azau is EWEA’s Senior Communication Officer and editor of the wind industry’s leading magazine, Wind Directions.
